Just found out yesterday that our TA's (Travel Approvals) arrived and that we will be heading to China next week!! I can't believe I am writing those words! We will hopefully get our consulate appointment today or tomorrow and then we can buy our plane tickets. Nothing like a last minute ticket to Hong Kong! We could have Lucy in our arms by next weekend. We cannot wait.
So now we just need to organize, pack for the trip and line things up for everyone helping out with the boys while we are gone. We've only had four years to get all of this together but guess what - we didn't. It somehow doesn't seem real until you are looking at that little picture. So a word for all you folks out there thinking that you have a lot of time between referral and travel - you don't always. Go ahead and get things together now (before referral) so you aren't running around like a crazy woman at the last minute.
